About

I opened my private practice in 2009  I received my certification from the Arcata School of Massage. While building my private practice, I have worked in various positions in the massage field over the years. With my experience ranging from spa treatments to teaching and medical massage, my skills have formed into a technique that emphasizes an expansion of self awareness and the cultivation of joy in this human form and provides support that inspires a continuous progression into more optimal states of health.
I have successfully treating a spectrum of medical conditions and support many people on their path of recovery so that they could live more full lives again. Working for an Osteopathic doctor and treating patients with range of pathologies really helped me sharpen my awareness of how pain and stress in the body needs to be approached. While working at Redwood Osteopathy, I received training on treatments and pathophysiology from the doctor and visiting medical students. In the beginning of my career, I worked in the spa setting, giving a more pampering experience to clients. I have also spent a good amount of time working with special needs/developmentally disabled clients, providing low-cost massages so they would be accessible. During my many years involved with the Arcata School of Massage, I worked in the People's Massage Collective, which provided low-cost massage to the community, and worked as a massage instructor, mentor, and clinic supervisor.
Immerseing myself in these different realms of healing and bodywork that inspired me has created a love for my practice and a deep sense of gratitude for the opportunity to share my healing gifts with those who come to see me.
